Group: Market risk control, CIB Risk Department

The group sits on the trading floor and is responsible for market risk coverage of trading desks.


The successful candidate will:

- Identify, measure and monitor market risk. Prepare and distribute complex risk reports;

- Analyze positions in order to identify possible significant risks;

- Analyze and understand risk sensitivities;

- Contribute to pre-deal review of complex transactions;

- Participate in communication with trading desks regarding risk appetite, revision of risk limits;

- Conduct ad-hoc risk analysis of different securities, derivatives and initiatives;

- Take part in approval of new products;

- Contribute to implementation and further development of risk policies, procedures and

methodologies related to market risk;

- Prepare information memos for internal and external users;

- Work towards optimization of risk reporting process. Liaise with developers and business

analysts regarding development of IT solutions for risk management.


Skills and qualifications:

- BA/MS in economics/finance/math/physics;

- At least 1 year of work experience in financial sector;

- Analytical thinking;

- A sound understanding of financial markets and derivatives;

- Fluent English is compulsory;

- Excellent presentation skills;

- Advanced MS Office skills (e.g. MS Excel);

- Certification such as PRM/FRM/CFA is highly advantageous.
