Since 2011, as part of its continuing educational program, CFA Association Russia has been organizing a series of professional finance training courses. Currently, there are three different courses, which focus on financial modeling and business valuation.

It was CFA Russia that launched the first ever financial modeling training in Russia in March of 2011. Since then CFA Russia has helped over 700 finance specialists from all across Russia and the CIS to improve their skills and become better professionals.

Seeing the demand for more courses, CFA Russia has just introduced another financial modeling course this month, a more advanced version of the original one. In addition to this, a business valuation course will be also held this winter and spring.

Furthermore, seeing a need for an online presence, last year CFA Russia launched an online study platform, where the society has uploaded several courses in local language, including a shorter online version of the financial modeling course and six sessions of the CFA Level 1 Exam curriculum. Although the platform is currently on a beta testing mode, about 120 users are already actively using the service.

During 2019, CFA Russia plans to upload more study sessions to produce a full CFA Level 1 Exam prep course in Russian language, and after working out a few minor kinks on the website release a full online educational platform for all our members and CFA candidates.

The prep course sessions are taught by the experienced CFA charterholders and members of CFA Russia. This will not only provide a good understanding of the required exam curriculum, but also keep learners aware of the latest standards in the finance industry.

Apart from the prep course, CFA Association Russia is working on the development of a few more training courses, and potentially, on turning its educational activities into a full-scale learning academy.
