Last Thursday, February 24th, CFA Association Russia held an offline business breakfast in Novotel Moscow Kievskaya. We invited Daniel Wolfe, Independent Board Member in a number of Russian Public Joint Stock Companies, as well as Simoleon Long-Term Value Fund Founder. 

The main discussion topic was comparison between blockchain's current state of development and the one of the Internet back in 1998: number of users, global awareness and growth rates. Also, the speaker gave an overview of blockchain technologies on the whole and described ways of implementing them both in financial and non-financial sectors.

Participants of the event, mostly CFA Association Russia Members, also enjoyed coffee, light breakfast and networking both before and after the presentation.

The event was held in partnership with the NES program “Master in Finance”.
