This Saturday, November 19, 2011, CFA Association Russia, together with Kaplan Schweser, organized the Live Mock CFA Exam for Level I candidates. 42 CFA candidates in Moscow took the opportunity to rehearse the six-hour exam in an environment most closely imitating the real exam conditions.

At 9am, the exam simulation was launched in a lecture hall of the Higher School of Economics, one of the most renowned universities in Russia. The exam lasted for a total of six hours, with a one-hour break between the sessions.

All candidates received a pack of exam materials prepared by Kaplan Schweser. The exam sheets closely resembled the actual exam questions and were based on Schweser preparatory materials. The main difference with the real exam was the possibility to self-grade the results at the end, and to know the result before the end of the day.

After taking the mock exam, everyone received online access to SchweserMock.com, which allows exam participants to:

·        Enter their answers.

·        Get an analysis of their exam performance; overall, by topic, and relative to others who have taken the exam and entered their answers.

·        Get explanations of the correct answer choices and any related calculations for Every Mock Exam question.
