Yesterday, Wednesday 7th of November, CFA Russia held IRC Kick-off Meeting at the KPMG Russia office in Moscow City.

The Kick-off Meeting is an official start of CFA Institute Research Challenge - an educational initiative that promotes best practices in equity research among the next generation of analysts. The CFA Institute Research Challenge is the global competition for the students and in 2013 students from Moscow and Regional Economics Universities and Academies will represent Russian Federation for the third time.

Director of CFA Association (Russia) welcomed the participants and spoke about IRC competition, details of report submission and conditions of the team-naming. During the Kick-off Meeting the teams had a chance to meet each other, learn about changes to the rules of the competition, attend the presentation by the representative of the Subject Company (OJSC Mostotrest) and ask questions.

The IRC Kick-off Meeting was traditionally hosted by KPMG Moscow. CFA Association (Russia) wishes good luck to all teams in CFA IRC 2013!
