The CFA Russia Autumn 2013 training season started with our traditional Business Valuation course: Financial Modeling for Business Valuation, 5-6 October.

10 people from different local financial organizations took part in this course. The course was held in the format of a weekend training with comprehensive theory and practice parts. More than ten financial models a and valuation cases were considered.

CFA Russia Society has been running these course since 2011 and we already have over 200 finance and investment professionals from Russia and CIS who completed this training.

Background information about the trainers:

Denis Sitnikov. CFA

- More than ten years investment and corporate Finance practice in international companies.

- Executive MBA in Finance and Investments, Duke University (2011)

- Experience in strategy consultant at Accenture, investment analyst and partner at TPG Aurora and Profmedia.

- Since 2006 he held the position of partner and Vice President in the Corporate Finance Department of the Uralsib Capital. His specialization is M&A transactions,

Maxim Russkikh

-Master degree in Business and Management at the Moscow State Technical University of AD Bauman

- More than seven years experience in international and Russian investment banks

- Experience in different investment projects in Europe, the Russian Federation and the CIS countries

- Has a wide experience in the areas of financial modeling and business valuation

- Experience in mining and gas industry, oil - and gas-producing industries, FMCG, as well as real estate transactions.
