During the weekend of February 8-9, CFA Association Russia held its core training for financial professionals: Use of Financial Models for Business Valuation.

This training program has been very successful among the Russian financial community, as more than 70 people participated in it in 2013. This year is no exception; CFA Association Russia was glad to see this year’s first group of seven attendees to go through our intensive program on various aspects of business valuation.

Two days of training provided the participants with enough data to help them understand both the foundations and technicalities of financial modeling. Each day of training consisted of approximately 30% theory and 70% practical examples and exercises that were completed on individual laptops.

Please note the next two weekends, February 15-16 and 22-23, we will hold our training on Detection of Misleading Reporting Practices to define businesses’ actual financial standing.
