CFA Russia - New 2014 Board Member and Officer Elections

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of CFA Association Russia took place on February 27, 2014 at Dantes restaurant in Moscow. Traditionally, meeting is combined with the election of the new Board of Directors for the upcoming year.

Dantes restaurant hosted several successful business events and presentations from 2012 through 2014. Events with the Russian and international companies, as well as the CFA Association Russia’s AGM were no exception. After beginning the morning with a relaxing breakfast, ample time was given to business networking.

Besides the members of the Board of Directors, as well as nominated candidates and employees of the Association, the meeting was also attended by several members of CFA Association Russia who are interested in the progress of the association. Neil Withers, the president of the association, summarized the major results of 2013 and talked about changes to the mission statement. Vladimir Tutkevich, Executive Director of CFA Association Russia, presented a detailed report on the activities of the association in 2013, discussed the role of the Board of Directors in the governance of the Association, and showed the technical side of the 2014 Board of Directors election.

Assembly members submitted the list of nominated candidates and voted by ballot, and the new list was adopted unanimously. The new 2014 Board of Directors for the CFA Association Russia includes the following members:

Upon completion of the AGM, the group held a short Q&A session. Each of participants had the opportunity to talk one-on-one with colleagues and discuss issues affecting the group.

After the AGM, on the 27th of March we held the Board Meeting, and following CFA Association Russia Board Officers were chosen:

VICE PRESIDENT - Denis Sitnikov
TREASURER - Olga Bystrova
SECRETARY - Olga Zagvozdkina
