During the weekend of March 29-30, at the Renaissance Capital office CFA Association Russia held its core training for financial professionals: Use of Financial Models for Business Valuation.

This training program has been very successful among the Russian financial community, as more than 70 people participated in it in 2013. This year is no exception; CFA Association Russia was glad to see this year’s second group of eleven attendees to go through our intensive program on various aspects of business valuation.

Two days of training provided the participants with enough data to help them understand both the foundations and technicalities of financial modeling. Each day of training consisted of approximately 30% theory and 70% practical examples and exercises that were completed on individual laptops.
