On July 9-10, 2014 Skolkovo School of Management with support of CFA Association Russia, held a two-day seminar by NYU Stern Business School Professor of Finance Aswath Damodaran.

CFA Association Russia members were guests at this event and had the opportunity to ask questions to one of the 12 best professors of finance in the world (according to Business Week Magazine).

Visitors of the event were heads of non-financial sectors responsible for business development projects who were interested in developing skills in project and investment valuation, heads of investment portfolios, programs and projects, financial managers, and specialists, as well as individuals who are interested in mastering their knowledge and skills in management decision-making.  During the seminar they considered following issues:

1. How to evaluate necessary resources and investments in new projects
2. How to evaluate the expected return on investment and additional cash flow that will arise as a result of the project
3. How the structures of different types of financing can influence on management decision regarding the project
4. How to evaluate the influence of the project on the company value through implementation of multipliers and comparative analysis
